There were several suspicious characters that L'N and his family observed along the way. First, there was the middle-aged man with no shirt on laying in the grass with his bright white little dog sitting on his chest. L'N considered this odd scene silently to himself.
"I mean, REALLY? What self-respecting guy sits in a public park with no shirt on and a yapping white lap dog on his chest?" L'N thought. "This MUST be our spy!" But just then the shirtless dog man's obviously better half returned, and L'N ruled him out.
Our L'N passed several other potential clandestine spy contacts along the path; all turned-out to be false alarms:
- a group of 4 girls walking their unfriendly yellow dog,
- a quiet couple sitting on a bench with their gorgeous tan greyhound panting heavily (L'N actually initiated contact with this one by speaking to the greyhound in super-secret "Pantineze," but she was just a normal dog in need of a drink of wa-wa), and
- a group of "Honkers" (geese) who just happened to cross the path right in front of Daddy & L'N while MommyNinja was grabbing a quick run up ahead ... nothing.
It wasn't until the friendly elderly gentleman had passed and spoke to L'N a second time that our L'N Family realized that he was missing the cute tan slouch hat that he had been wearing during their earlier interaction! Several yards down the path L'N noticed the tan hat placed just-too-perfectly-centered on a park bench, then it clicked! THE HAT! He silently signaled to MommyNinja. After cautiously checking for a self-destruct mechanism, she picked-up the hat, nonchalantly turning away from Daddy & L'N. Covertly, she carefully retrieved the super-secret spy micro-chip from under the rim of the spy prop, before turning back to Daddy & L'N.
"Think I can catch him?" MommyNinja asked Daddy.
"I don't know," responded Daddy, "He's already around the bend and out of sight. Pretty quick for an elderly gentleman; isn't he?"
"I'm gonna try," replied MommyNinja with a almost imperceptible wink towards L'N.
With that, MommyNinja was off like a flash running to catch-up with with the covert agent. Of course, she caught him, returned his little slouch hat, and nobody was the wiser. The L'N Family finished their stroll back towards the L'N Mobile, snapping photos and enjoying the wonderful weather the day had brought them.
Until our next mission ... be safe, love life and each other, and as Gandhi once said,
"Be the change you want to see in the world!" Lil' Ninja is OUTTA HERE ... thanks for reading ;-)
